AI Visibility for Shopify · Last updated 19 August 2026
AI Visibility ("the app") is operated by Yumnaz Ventures ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app accesses, what it stores, and what it does not.
When you install AI Visibility, you grant it these Shopify permissions:
read_products, write_products — to score your
product data and, when you press Apply, write improved titles,
descriptions, tags and product types back to your products.write_content, write_online_store_navigation —
to save buying guides as blog drafts and to publish an
llms.txt file at your store root.write_pixels, read_customer_events — only if you
turn on AI visit tracking, to record visits arriving from AI assistants. The tracking pixel runs in Shopify's sandboxed environment and reads only the referring domain and landing path. It cannot access the page contents, cookies or customer session.
To generate scores, suggested product copy, buying questions and guides, we send product information — titles, descriptions, tags, product types and metafields — to Google's Gemini API. No customer data is ever sent to any AI provider. Google processes this data as a service provider and does not use it to train its models under the terms of the paid API.
Scans ask AI search engines publicly answerable buying questions about your product category. These queries contain no data about you or your customers beyond what is already public on your storefront.
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Railway, encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is limited to the developer operating the app, for support and debugging only.
The app only writes to your store when you press a button. Every applied change records the previous value so it can be undone from within the app. Buying guides are always saved as unpublished drafts — nothing is made public without your action.
We do not sell, rent or share your data. It is disclosed only to the service providers required to run the app — Railway for hosting, Google for AI processing, and Resend for the optional weekly email — and only to the extent needed to provide those functions.
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@yumnaz.com and we will respond within 30 days.
The app implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks
(customers/data_request, customers/redact and
shop/redact). Because we hold no customer personal data, customer
requests return no personal information.
