Privacy Policy
Printora — Order Printer PDF · Last updated: July 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Printora ("the App", "we", "us"), operated by Yumnaz Ventures, collects, uses, and protects information when merchants install and use the App on their Shopify store.
The short version: Printora generates PDF documents (invoices, packing slips, pick lists, credit notes) from your Shopify orders when you request them. Order and customer information is fetched from Shopify at the moment of printing, used only to render the document, and is not stored on our servers.
1. Information we access
To provide its functionality, the App requests the following access from Shopify, with the merchant's explicit approval during installation:
- Order data (order number, date, line items, prices, taxes, discounts, totals, financial status) — used to render documents.
- Customer name and billing/shipping addresses — printed on invoices and packing slips as standard billing and shipping information.
- Product data (titles, SKUs, variants) — displayed as line items on documents.
- Store information (store name, store email, store address) — displayed in the document header.
The App does not request or access customer email addresses, phone numbers, payment card details, browsing behavior, or geolocation data.
2. Information we store
We store only the minimum operational data required to run the App:
- Shop identifier and API session — required by Shopify for authentication.
- App settings — your chosen default template, document language, and paper size.
- Usage counters and print history — the order ID, document type, and timestamp of documents you print, used to show print-status badges in the App and to enforce plan limits. This record contains no customer personal data.
We do not store order contents, customer names, or customer addresses. That information exists in our systems only in memory for the seconds required to generate your PDF, after which it is discarded. Generated PDFs are delivered directly to your browser and are not retained on our servers.
3. How we use information
- To generate the PDF documents you request.
- To display your orders and their print status inside the App.
- To operate your subscription plan and free-tier limits.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
We do not sell, rent, or share any merchant or customer data with third parties. We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the App's functionality.
4. Billing
All charges are processed through the Shopify Billing API. We never see or store your payment details.
5. Hosting and security
- The App is hosted on Railway infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest by our hosting provider.
- Access to operational data is limited to the App's developer, solely for support and maintenance.
- Access to systems is protected with strong authentication, and application logs allow us to audit access.
6. Data retention and deletion
- On uninstall: when you uninstall the App, your session, settings, and usage records are deleted automatically via Shopify's
app/uninstalled webhook.
- GDPR requests: the App implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. Customer data requests return no data (none is stored); customer and shop redaction requests permanently delete any associated operational records.
- You may request deletion of any data at any time by contacting us.
7. Compliance
The App is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Shopify's Protected Customer Data requirements. Because we act as a processor for the merchant and store no customer personal data, most data-subject requests can be satisfied immediately.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
